A few months ago, the inheritors of the late Aqa Mashhadi Najaf, the merchant from Ganjah, including Muhsin Aqa, Mahmud Aqa, and Sariyah Khanum petitioned to the Russian consulate, appointing Aqa Hasan Aqa as their guardian. Now, Aqa Hasan Aqa declares that he will refrain from interfering in their affairs.

Zahra Sultan Nizam Mafi (‘Izzat al-Saltanah) writes to her brother, Muhammad ‘Ali Nizam Mafi (Salar Mu‘azzam), asking him about the coronation ceremony in London; she describes the extent of people's fear of the return of Muhammad ‘Ali Mirza, which has lead many to flee to Shimiran; Sipahdar has fled to Mihrabad and sent his resignation to Nayib al-Saltanah; Sattar and Baqir also have left on the pretext of bringing back Sipahdar. Nayib al-Saltanah also left for Shimiran with the excuse of having a cough and sore throat. At the end, she wishes for nothing [bad] to happen.
